Top 4 Designer Virtual Outlets During COVID-19
It's a new season for all of us. Typically, we would be buzzing around NYC, going from one fabulous networking event to another with a phone in hand, documenting and posting the latest stunning work in the home design industry, and inspiring each of us for our next project – what a treat. As we all continue our days of sheltering in place, we feel it is important now more than ever to stay connected to our design community, to inspire with fresh design concepts, cultivate new marketing strategies, or even just say a friendly hello. As we strengthen our new norm in the virtual world, we want to share some great platforms we've come across with our fellow industry partners; interior designers, architects, and home developers. We have reached out to many different platforms where our industry is still active and networking. Here are a few of our favorites:
DesignTV
DesignTV by SANDOW: Luxe keeps you connected on all things creative. You can find DesignTV on the Luxe Interior + Design Facebook page or here. This is their signature virtual program that unites creative leaders. It was originally launched in 2009 as a tool to help businesses get back on their feet during the last recession. This program is a virtual extension accessible across their network for brainstorming creative strategies for all home industry professionals. Missed their live broadcast on Facebook? Not a problem. IFDA Virtual Chapter
The International Furnishings & Design Association (IFDA) Virtual Chapter was originally created to involve members who have moved away from their regional chapters or even retired. All IFDA chapters promote open sharing for inspiration and education, as well as community service and ethical practices. The Virtual Chapter is relatively new but very active with connecting professionals all over the globe.
