This Bakes & Kropp kitchen transformation in Locust Valley, New York honors the classic style of its historic estate on the north shore of Long Island with layers of modern sensibility. Trusting our custom capabilities, the homeowners turned to our team, led by Senior Designer, Mary Dimichino, for their first of many renovations with us. Eager to deliver drama balanced with sophistication, we installed our Classic Meridian cabinetry with a stark contrast of black and white finishes. Hand-painted white wall cabinetry parallels the space’s classic French-style doors.

Above, a Bakes & Kropp range hood is accented with riveted nickel straps in harmony with the cabinetry’s polished hardware. The black hand-painted island commands the center of the kitchen, offering an expansive working space with double sinks and seating for six. Flanking a narrow windowed pantry, double ice box style refrigerators mimic the island’s juxtaposition of a contemporary black finish against a classic silhouette with Stainless steel panels. Lastly, just opposite the kitchen wall, a stunning butlers pantry in a high gloss grey makes these homeowners’ storage dreams come true.
