In this kitchen, Bakes & Kropp created a transitional space marked by generous storage and room for entertaining for a family of four in Garden City, New York. Through a masterful blend of materials, clever storage solutions, and a dedicated bar space, our team, under the lead of Senior Designer Mary Dimichino, created a light and airy kitchen that accommodates all of the family’s preferences with elegance and balance.In order to free up clutter, our team designed a hutch cabinet to hide away small appliances, as well as a large pantry with shelving and drawers for canned and dry food.

As the clients were drawn to Bakes & Kropp’s signature neutral color scheme, our designers opted for white-painted wood cabinetry punctuated by warm accents. The design team incorporated a multi-functional dining area through a marble island with an elegant walnut countertop, while designated bar area opposite the island provides an inviting backdrop for entertaining. The glass-front upper cabinets house an array of glassware and feature the chrome and nickel materials used throughout the rest of the kitchen. Through a thoughtful mix of design elements and functional storage solutions, our Bakes & Kropp team merged aesthetics and utility to achieve a sumptuous kitchen that welcomes connection and conversation
