When the owners of this stunning home were ready to update their kitchen, they called on Bakes & Kropp to design and deliver a transitional space with a cool twist. Tasked with providing respective prep and entertaining spaces and heaps of storage, Senior Kitchen Designer Guillaume Dupre employed his expertise to marry the homeowners’ functional needs with their aesthetic vision. White Classic Meridian kitchen cabinetry sets the groundwork with a minimal, clean perimeter. Pearl walnut accents accentuate the rich wood grain underfoot while adding an organic touch to the refined kitchen. The grain’s cool undertones are brought out by marble countertops which provide a durable and elegant prep space.

The central island is custom-designed with built-in bench seating and a paired table at its center. With a glossy top and pearl walnut base, the bespoke dining table ties traditional and contemporary elements to mirror the greater kitchen’s transitional concept. The eye is drawn to the walnut panels revealing dual ice-box style refrigerators and the Bakes & Kropp range hood. The custom design has become a signature for the brand, marrying sleek chrome accents with a classic silhouette to complement the crown molding and cabinetry.  Throughout the space, simple polished chrome hardware reveals expertly fitted storage. The result is a stunning kitchen that perfectly balances functionality and style, where the owners can comfortably entertain guests or simply enjoy the space with their loved ones.
