Located in Bridgehampton, New York, Bakes & Kropp designed this coastal cool kitchen in its timeless style. The new kitchen afforded our design team endless possibilities, yet Head of Design Bob Bakes found our signature transitional style was the ideal fit. Classic Meridian cabinetry is hand-painted in Bakes White finish embellished by signature nickel hardware. Pearl Walnut paneling layers an organic touch, along with a paired center island and custom-designed range hood seamlessly complimenting the flooring. Ice-box refrigerator latches and polished nickel hood accents add another element of refinement.

The Waterfall Walnut island intentionally commands the space with bar stool seating, tailored storage solutions, and the double wraparound countertop extension of its marbled prep space. The corresponding backsplash unites working spaces, whereas soapstone counters add another element of contrast. Paneled ceilings, on the other hand, create symmetry in line with the flooring to elongate the kitchen. With no detail overlooked, built-in lighting highlights expert craftsmanship throughout.
